Thanks for the information. It would be great to have this type of profile available for each county. Aside from the ones you mentioned, the other entries in the ADAH county file are the following:

Covington Blues
Covington Farmers
Grace's Company
McCollough Revengers

If I'm not off-base here, the last named became Capt. James T. Brady's Co. "E", 42nd Alabama Infantry Regiment. Was that company from Covington, Conecuh or both? Also, this man must have been the same person as the captain of the 2nd class militia company you mentioned.

If Grace's Company isn't a County Reserve unit or some other type of militia command, I'm unclear about what it is. Does anyone recognize that name?
