Thanks for the look up. Discharged and wounded at Peachtree Creek does imply reenlistment. The initial muster roll/pay period for Elijah indicates Elijah's enlistment period was "war". Civil War scholars probably know if that meant for the duration of the war, or was a standard entry. I'm trying to understand why a Confederate soldier would have been discharged at the end of 1862 after less than 4 months service. Seriously ill? Deceased? Elijah's muster roll read Elijah N. Taylor. Could the Elijah Taylor at Peachtree Creek been a different Elijah Taylor?
