In accordance with General Order No. 66, Adjutant and Inspector General Office dated Richmond, May 22, 1863, and Special Order No. 488, Maj. Gen'l. D. H. Maury dated July 27, 1863, the above named enlisted men were transferred to Company of Engineer Troops Department of the Gulf.
Company organized and Non-Commissoned officers appointed Aug. 7, 1863.
Since the 20th of August the Artificers and privates (Laborers) have been employed on the City Entrenchments and in Cutting Withes [sp?] for same. Mobile Ala.
July 1 to Oct. 31, 1863, dated October 31, 1863, stationed at Mobile, Ala.
