Since he was not in Confederate service, information will be limited. His unit was a home guard unit organized late in the war. Apparently, according to the ADAH source found below, his name is on a muster roll dated Nov 17, 1864. This muster roll would be at the ADAH in Montgomery. That would probably be your only source.
