Court Martial

I am researching my great grandfather and his brothers' service in the war. Family research says the following about one of the brothers, John Washington Reaves, 13th Alabama Infantry, Wilcox County:

"National Archives show John Washington 'sick in hospital Dec 29, 1861. Remarks on muster roll for June 13 to July 28, 1862, showed that he was 'deprived of one month's pay by sentence of Regimental Court Martial, March '62.' No charges were given."

Is there anyone who can find more detail on the reason for the court martial? If no specific reason can be found, is there a good guess as to what he might have been charged with, especially if he had been in hospital just before? I am sure there are multiple reasons that could have led to court martial, but maybe only certain ones resulted in loss of one month's pay, for example. Those are the clues I have; hoping someone can find more detail or give me a good guess. Thanks
