Samuel B. McJunkin was a chaplain in Co B, 15th Ala Inf. He was wounded in both arms from an exploding shell on August 29, 1862 (Manassas) and didn't served in the army after that. He was a friend of my ggrandfather Sgt. J.D. Calloway of Co B, 15th Ala. Samuel B. McJunkin signed my ggrandfather's Soldier's Appilcation for a Pension in Texas on May 8, 1914. Samuel was a preacher and teacher in Texas after the war. Not 1863 but---
