There is a Daniel Armstrong in Company D 8th Arkansas Calvary CSA, however it it shows an alternate name as David M. There is a Daniel F. Armstrong listed in Company B 6th Tennessee Infantry. I did not find any Jeptha listed in Arkansas or Tennesee.
There is a Jesse T. Turner listed in Company B 7th Tennessee Calvary USA (Union).
There is a Jesse Turner listed in Company C Clack's 3rd Tennessee Infantry CSA , Company I Nixon's 48th Infantry CSA and the 54th Tennesee Infantry CSA

On the family history side,
FamilySearch.com shows a Jeptha Daniel Armstrong born Alabama on 20 March 1833. It shows he married Judith S Williams on 18 June 1854 in Hot Springs County Arkansas.
