I'm sure Jim Martin is correct about the Port Hudson paroles. Could be that it exists in the NARA microfilm of prisoners of war.

This is a great website. If I may suggest, references to the 1st Alabama Regiment should cite it as an artillery rather than an infantry command. Officers and men reorganized for the war in March 1862 in that arm of service, but most sources neglect that bit of information.
