Re: Letter: Pursuit of Sterling Price

Excellent posting. Thanks for sharing.
Lt. Frederick Price of White County rode with Gen. Price on the raid north. My ggg grandfather Fielding Price, who was Frederick's brother, of White County was captured in eastern Arkanas in late Nov. of 1864 while trying to aid Sterling Price on his return to the state. Fielding died of smallpox in the Yankee Prison at Little Rock on Feb. 1, 1865. So I am one of the folks who would find this interesting.
May I ask, where did this come from? Did you research and find it in the records somewhere or is this containted within a book, etc?
Thanks-
Linda
