This is likely only a coincidence, but in my genealogy research, I found a grave, either in Shannon or Treet Cemetary in Pope county Arkansas, A grave stone marked ,"parents of General Price" I have forgotten the names of the parent`s.but, Knowing that there was a General Standridge, I think this is just a family name. Does anyone know where General Sterling Price`s parent`s are buried?
I am out of the Standridge/Meeks families which also have Price connections. ,Lou Kilgore
