Yes, this was after the Battle of Pine Bluff October 25th 1863. By all accounts they were not there more than overnight because Union Forces arrived the next day in pursuit.
Almost all the encampments around the Tulip area that I can find, other than in 1861 with the organization of Company "I" Tulip Rifles of the 3rd Arkansas Infantry, seem to have been short term camps. Now this is not to say that there wasn't a confederate presence in Tulip most of the time, including hospitals after the battle of Jenkins Ferry.
