Thankyou for the prompt replies to my question. My g.g.grandfather Jerimiah Potts married to Mary Ann Blevins did have a son named Levi, who was listed on the 1860 census as being three years old. Their second son Alvin C. is listed as five months old, he was born on Feb. 19,1860. I hope I will be able to find out if Jerimiah served in the civil war, all we have been told is that he was ambushed and killed by bushwackers near Springfield, Mo. He is not buried in the same cemetary as his wife and 2nd son unless he had an unmarked fieldstone. I will continue to research any Potts connected with the civil war and hope to find some leads. Thankyou again
