CAMP REED, CSA - WINTER OF 1864-1865...??

Thought I would post my periodic inquiry as to the mysterious CAMP REED, CSA which apparently existed SOMEWHERE in Arkansas (SW Arkansas?) during the Winter of 1864-1865.

Am VERY interested in finding out ANYTHING about this place which I found listed in the Herndon Supplement to Arkansas CSA Soldiers microfilms in the Arkansas Historical Commission some years ago now.

This CSA camp was listed as the place where my great-grandpa Joseph L. Bishop and his brother served as guards during the Winter of 1864-1865. They were both members of R.C. Newton's 10th Arkansas Cavalry, Co. C (Captain Cyprus K. Holman) at the time (see URL below).

ANY and ALL help, suggestions, etc. are VERY welcome re this longtime puzzle that has been tormenting me. One intelligent speculation is that Camp Reed might have been somewhere near Dooley's Ferry in Hempstead County, but...????
