Unless I am mistaken, Dobbins Cav. was the 1st Arkansas.
When you said Archibald Dobbins, it was thought on my part that you were speaking of
the 1st Arkansas Cav. that I have been told the Yankees just hated.
Dobbins left for South America when the war ended and outlived what his family
claimed by a while. He became a Catholic and bought property and may have or may not
have come to an unfortunate end in that part of the world.
