His presentation sword, given to him by the 1st/15th Arkansas at Dalton, is in the Atlanta History Center, The Layland Museum in Cleburne, TX has the pistol and his saddle (probably the one presented to him by General Bragg when he left the army at Dalton). The Tennessee State Museum has his Kepi, his fork,knife, spoon combo, and a walking cane. I have heard that his journal and some letters are in the possesion of a private collector in Mobile. And his dress frock coat is in the MOC in Richmond, however this was not the coat he was wearing when he was killed as many claim, Cleburne was known to wear a field uniform as many generals did, and just before Franklin he was described as wearing a gray coat of the sack pattern (ie civilian sack coat), Note, that the Carter House has some of these items on loan from time to time, last summer they had his pistol and kepi for a temporary display.
