Very good information, thank ya'll for the heads up. Ok, here is my next question seeking assistance. It seems I saw a photo of Fagan in his colonel's uniform. Am I mistaken about that? If not, can anyone confirm the location of the photo. I have two photos of Fagan in uniform: one of him standing holding a kepi and the other (more popular one) of him sitting down with a longer beard. Considering he was a colonel at Shiloh I would like to track that photo down.
