Thanks for the list of Yankees. But eventually I will look at everything I can find until I nail Rosannah Mays Glasscock down. I just can't imagine why she never spoke of her previous marriage to anyone. The Riggs generation previous to my husband did a real nice genealogy book on the family but never mentioned her first marriage or the oldest daughter.. Her daughter from her Glasscock marriage did the same thing but eventually I figured that one out. But in both cases they just didn't mention her previous marriage or her daughters maiden name all they gave was her first name. I am following her oldest daughter to find out what her maiden name is but when I found the daughters death certificate it said mothers maiden name Glasscock and the fathers was blank.But I try to remember genealogy research was a lot more difficult then than it is now.
