I am looking for information about my GGG father who searved in the 8th Company D Infantry and was buried at Olivet Cemetary in Nashville Tenn. He enlisted at Camp Price on July 12th 1861. His record only shows that he was buried Dec. 2nd 1861. The soldiers were moved from their original burial sit by the Daughters of the Confederacy. His name was James P. Edens. There were several others from Arkansas buried there. I anyone want to find out if tany of their relatives are buried there, you can either contact the cemetary or let me know as I plan to visit there again. Any one who may know about any newspaper articles or such about him, I would love to hear from.
