Tom,
I`m in no means questioning your source of information, but why would they carry bodies from Poison Springs all the way to Mt. Holly? There were too many established communities closer than Mt. Holly. By todays means of travel it is about 40 miles and that is going through Camden. Since Camden was in Federal control the other route would put them coming through Stephens or Buena Vista. Either way that is at least a day or little over a day by wagon. Just my thoughts.
