There is a stone for Col. Fountain Pitts Yell in the Mansfield Cemetery in Louisiana inscribed, “Col. YELL, CSA.” There is another in Bellwood Cemetery, Pine Bluff. Is the stone in Louisiana simply a memorial, or was he re-interred?
