Keep it a secret Bryan, but there is a project underway to write a book on Jefferson County during the War for the 150th Anniversary. I am not the writer but am advising and contributing. Since I am not the guy writting it, I do not what is going to become of this effort or what it will contain. But right now we are hoping to make it a day to day account of the War in and around Jefferson County since we have five primary source journals and dairies, both Confederate and Federal, and letters, along with the Hindman Telegraphs that cover the entire day to day experience of life from 1860 to 1865.

We are wondering how many "VOLUMES" we will have to publish, and that is the real problem. It is all nuts and bolts type of material and you well know how that can be. No grand battles or big Generals like Robert E. Lee or Jackson, just every day life like the Riggs papers.
