My ancestor, Sgt. Pleasant Harrions Loyd, of White County, Arkansas served with the 36th Arkansas CSA.
A Major Price, I believe he was a Major, wrote a history of sorts of the 36th that was placed
at the Butler Center in Little Rock several years back.
It was my understanding that the 36th was in Texas when the war ended in 1865 and I know
my ancestor walked home to live only a short while longer.
