Any ideas please. Trying to find best way to start in obtaining more on the following. In an old book on early Arkansas (White or Cleburne County) families was the following biography: John W. Darden, ran the only flour mill west of the Mississippi for the Confederate army. Where do I start in confirming this? I wonder if this would make him being in the Confederate army and have a record? He is my ggfather and would like to add him as a Confederate ancestor. Any helpful ideas welcome. Cindy
