Ms.Wimmer, it's Miss R.F.Ball not R.L..The Miss is not on the note.If you tell me the denomination, serial number, plate letter or series and date of issue. I can give you who should of signed for both Treasurer and Register. Many notes were heavily counterfeited some stolen before signed so sometimes the signatures don't match with the correct signatures. Many counterfeits are worth more then the real note.I own a copy of Thain's, Register of Issues of Confederate Treasury Notes Together with Tabular Exhibits of Debt,Funded and Unfunded of the Confederate States of America 1861-1865.Notice the Unfunded which many of the Feb.14,1864 notes were. There are five or more counterfeits of your hundred dollar note T-65.One printed in Havana Cuba. I have several including a real one signed by a distant cousin Miss L.W. Elliott. My GGGrandfather a Federal Officer was to be hanged at Atlanta,GA. for passing a counterfeit note while a pow. What better way to ruin an economy then tens of thousands of Federal troops dispersing bogus Treasury Notes. So I took an interest because of that.It takes time lots of columns of numbers.
