Re: Quantrill / Missouri soldier reenactors

I just happen to live here in "Quantrill Central" which is Independence, Mo. I live just a block and a half from the Independence Square and right around the corner from Woodlawn Cemetery where about eighteen of Quantrill's men are buried. I am in the process of building (by materials, not brick by brick) the "Quantrill Special Collections Research" at the Gentry Public Library in Gentry, Arkansas. It is an attempt to build the first ever Quantrill based special collections ever! I am working very hard on getting donations of books, papers, stories, articles, pictures, military reports, Quantrill lists, and any, all and everything I can get my hands on on the subject of Quantrill, his guerrillas and the border wars. There is a plan to this project and we are looking to have it open in May of 2012. I was hoping to broaden the subject of Quantrill by not only having this project, but I didnt know if there were reenactors down there that did Quantrill or Missouri Confederate soldier reenacting. God knows they are too numerous to mention up here!

Thanks for your input!
