Re: Quantrill / Missouri soldier reenactors

Richard:
Just a minor item of no import.........I was questioning a friend whose father was deceased about a story I had heard concerning her father and Bonnie and Clyde. She could not confirm that story, but she said that, when she was a child - she is now in her eighties - her father had taken her on a business trip to the vicinity of Hunt (located N/W of Clarksvilles, AR.) The house was a large farm house and while her father conducted his business she wandered through the house. She passed a room where an old man sat in a straight backed chair and in the corner near to his hand were three rifles. After they left she asked her father who the old man was, and her father said "you are never to mention this again. He rode with Quantrill." Just an interesting memory for my friend.
