Re: LH Tennison & HF Tennison 13th Arkansas Infant

Hiram and Levi were brothers, originally from Lawrence County, TN, who served in the same Arkansas regiment. Their brother, William, who served in the 54th Tennessee Infantry, was my gr-gr-grandfather. I have both Levi's and Hiram's military records from the National Archives.

The brothers both went to the Northwest after the war. Hiram died in Coquille, Oregon, in 1905; Levi in Folsom, California, in 1915.
