Thanks for the post - as you may have seen from my earlier post, Levi was my gr gr grandfather - I do have quite a bit of our family history on ancestory.com - and I know a bit about Levi and Hiram's Civil War service. Levi lived in Oregon and Washington - including Seattle where I now live (the home he lived in at the turn of the century here still stands). Was is difficult to obtain their war records?
