Okay, here is what I have on Saline County militia

The 1860 militia Co's A-H and Addy's Co 18th Regiment, tended to be mixed on where the officers wound up with the exception of Companies D and F of the 2nd BN. Both of these had most of their officers in Co A of the 11th or Co F of the 11th.

1861 Militia Co's A - F 18th Regiment, (after secession) most Co A officers went to Co B. 11th

Co's A-F 66th Regiment, Co C officers appear in Co H, Monroe's Ark Cav also, unlettered companies were part of the 66th Militia and Saline Rifle Rangers officers became Co C 3rd Ark Cav. Note: this company was also listed as part of 18th regiment as well. The other two are simply listed as Home Guard companies and the men have not been tied to any CS company or regiment.
These are apparently two separate units (18th and 66th) as the lettered companies are not the same men except where Saline RIfle Rangers are concerned. They may have been transferred to 66th??

For most of the other officers... they wound up in units from Saline Co....11th Ark, Monroe's Cav, Co B 25th Ark Inf or Co C 3rd Ark Cav. Only 3 officers listed show up as members of the first unit to enlist, Co E 1st ARk Inf (Fagan's) which is considered to be the "cream" of Benton and Saline County.

Hope this is clear as mud.

March 1862 Militia 18th regiment all officers listed have not been found in CS units except three who had service in Saline Co units before or after.
