In Response To: Monticello Light Artillery ()

The earliest event (after being mustered into service in February 1862) that I can document with certainty is early April 1862, when the company was at Fort Pillow, above Memphis. Later that month they moved to Corinth, Mississippi; left there a month later and went to Okolona, Mississippi; left there and were at Columbus, Mississippi, by June 30, 1862. Spent nearly a year at Columbus, then moved station to Okolona by June 30, 1863.
