15th was engaged at Richmond with Polk being wounded. As he was being carried off, he called to Cleburne who stopped to reply to him. It was at this point, Cleburne was shot through the mouth. At Perryville, Cleburne's brigade launched an attack late that afternoon which must have included the 15th.
