National Parks Civil War Soldiers and Sailors list list a J.W. Murdock in the 20th Arkansas Infantry. Their service records after the fall of Vicksburg has them returning to Arkansas and some of them becoming a mounted Unit.

I am wondering if this reference to this "15th Arkansas Infantry" may not have been a States Service Unit designation that possibly became part of the 22nd and then later the 20th Arkansas Infantry?
