Danny, I believe you are right about Dockery's (vice Hardy's) regiment being the 19th Arkansas in the 3rd Arkansas Consolidated. They certainly fit the apparent criteria of being an exchanged regiment from Vicksburg and Port Hudson. Also, Hardy's regiment was, by Trans-Mississippi standards, a fairly large regiment -- not really a candidate for consolidation.

That all just makes a whole lot of sense. And that's the value of this discussion forum. Thanks.
