I have compiled a ton of files using The Alexander Papers as the foundation and then meshed with other sources. In this way, I have been able to then create separate files on various specific topics [such as Army of
the South West, and the individual commands of various Generals like McBride, Raines, Roane, 1st Corps, troops coming from Texas, etc, etc. Perhaps just as important, these have then been arranged in chronological order.

Bill Gurley graciously loaned me his set of film on these papers and I have been hooked ever since.
