Evidently there was some organization that was known as 11th Arkansas Cavlary since there are actual CSR cards with 11th Ark Cav printed on them. Whether it was official Confederate or state designation has not been found....yet. BUt, COL Logan did command a Cav unit and eventually became a brigade commander. Now, Poe's Ark Cav BN served quite often under Logan's brigade. Some of the men you list are found in Poe's muster rolls. It seems Poe only had two companies in his bn or that is all the musters in existance...Co A (mostly men of the 11th Ark Inf and 11/17 Mtd Inf) and Dismukes Company. However, in misc files of Fold3, there are a number of men listed with 11th Cav. One said he was in Murray's Company, another had Co D 11th ARk Cav listed. I have not went through all your names yet but there seems to be something there. Now, it could be a possibility that Logan raised a small unit of app BN size and then Poe's Bn became attached, Logan rec'd a brigade and Poe commanded both as a BN size element. I do know that some men from the 17th Ark INf of the 11/17th Ark also served in this same organization. I have even seen one captured in Benton and stated he was from the 17th Ark Cav. So it is very muddy where this number designation originated.
