Yes I knew they were both in the county but just couldn't locate them. Of course Grant County didn't form until 1869, but at least I know what part of Saline REuben was from now. John Cole's land is right where I knew he was from (Shaw Community). Yes I have found quite a few missing....I myself will be missing from the 1990 Census when it comes out in the future. When I didn't get a census, I contacted them and they never sent me nothing so, I will be a headache to research if anyone of my descendants ever tries because I wasn't where I was supposed to be. Lived in Saline County until moving to Crittenden for first job, then by 2000 back in Saline so there will be a gap for me as well. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
