I was trying to match this battery with one of the units on the Wikipedia list. Does anyone know what became of the unit after Prairie Grove? Was it one of the Arkansas Field Batteries that are mentioned in Special Orders No. 290? I see a Lt Hughey mentioned, as a battery officers, so is this unit what eventually became the 8th Arkansas Field Battery under Captain William M. Hughey aka Hughey's Battery?
