The Lonoke County Museum is trying to research a Thomas W. Stobaugh who died in November of 1863
at a battle/skirmish at "Cypus"- was this Cypress. Where would this have been??
He is buried in Little Rock at the National Cemetery along with other Union soldiers.
Does anyone have any additional information on this man? What would have been going on/what was he part of?
We know he had brothers and some of them were also with the 3rd.
