There is a John J Stobaugh on the rolls of Co B, 3rd Arkansas (U S) Cavalry. He enlisted at age 18 on Sept 23, 1863, Lewisburg AR. Name and age matches a 14 year-old boy in the house of T W Stobaugh on the census of 1860.
