No, my ancestor was a McLean Cty man and served in Company K. He was originally a Virginian who came to Illinois prior to the war. Similar to the Reeves situation, my ancestor's brothers were CSA as well-- two survived the war and the other was KIA at Gettysburg. Most of the Bond Cty men were out of Mulberry Grove or Greenville. I have many of the men's service and pension records photocopied. I'll check tomorrow to see if I have this particular Reeves' records yet. If so, then I ought to be able to give you the date and location of any wounds he received.
