To add to my last post. The battles he was probably in were (missed Helena as they were in Little Rock) Little Rock campaign in Sept 63 and the Red River Campaign 1864, where he apparently was wounded or possibly he made it to the battle of Jenkin's Ferry and was wounded... with no battle reports for these its hard to get all the info exactly correct.
