The postwar account you cited seems to have corrupted the "Drew Artillery" as "Drew's Artillery." It is indeed possible that Owens' Arkansas Battery was involved in the action described. It was stationed at Columbus, Mississippi, until April 1863; then at Okolona, Mississippi, from May to October 1863. I haven't gotten around to researching this battery much beyond transcribing the muster rolls 20 or 30 years ago.
