Company D 32nd Arkansas CS (dismounted) Infantry *PIC*

Hi folks,
I am only now entering the world of figuring out what happened to all these brigades and such,
but ... for years I have been working on my family history.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Company D, 32nd Arkansas aka 4th Trans-Mississippi Regiment aka "Matlock's Brigade" aka "Gauses Regiment"

My ancestor enlisted Feb 26th 1862 in Jacksonport, Arkansas and there is a mention of Richard Hooker and Captain Casey.

I know L.C. Gause was in the 1st Arkansas Infantry Regiment ...
and THAT regiment saw action in First Manassas Virginia and I think Shiloh in Tennessee too.

BTW my ancestor's name was Edward Townes Fallin and was married to Julie Louise Simmons and they lived in Jackson and Woodruff counties after the war until they died before 1910. I am their great great grandson.

Anyway ... Ed Fallin did not stay with the 32nd ...
later on, he was in the 45th mounted infantry and served under the command of M. Jeff Thompson
