Battle of Arkansas Post - Date: Union troops operated against Fort Hindman from January 9 to January 11, 1863.

I don't think he was captured at Arkansas Post either ... but, they did have prisoner exchanges/release programs... but still, yeah, something is weird with that record .... I'm looking into what in the heck REALLY happened.
