Well, he initially enlisted in Co D 32 Ark Inf which regiment was commanded by Matlock and later Gause. It states he was captured at Ark Post but not sure why since that unit was not there. It says he was home sick Feb 28 1863 which would prove he was not captured at Ark Post in Jan 1863. Not sure if he participated at battle of Helena with 32nd in July or Jenkins Ferry in April 64 or not. He enlisted in Co I 45th Ark Mtd Inf under Baber in 1864. He probably participated in all the battles of Price's Missouri Raid in 1864.
