Joe, I've got quite a bit of information on the 27th Arkansas, but the best advice I could give would be to refer you to Silas Turnbo's "History of the Twenty-seventh Arkansas Confederate Infantry." It was published by Arkansas Research (Desmond Walls Allen) and is a very detailed history of the regiment by a member of that outfit. Highly recommended.
