Thanks for your insight. I was thinking something more "special."

So, was Quartermaster Sergeant William E. Rosser most likely on division, regimental (Choctaw & Chickasaw MR), or its Company (K) duty, or more likely back at the nearby Honey Springs Confederate Army supply depot during the Battle of Honey Springs on July 17, 1863?? I am really here just trying to identify where he was most likely assigned quartermaster duty based on his new assignment from 4th Corporal of Company K.
