I searched Springfield Arms last week,but they don't have my number in there file.They have some that are close,that were issued to the 8 th. New York Cavalry.The 8 Th. were from Rochester N. Y. I live and the gun was purchased around 30 miles from Rochester N. Y.

P. S. I all so searched my model 1860 Spencer Carbine,but Springfield doesn't have this ether.
