LOL.......so I'm a gun nut. Have been since my Dad gave me my first one at age 5. I bought a reproduction Starr 1858 to use in reenactments and it sucked big time! If the originals were the same, I can see why they fell by the wayside. Trigger pull on mine is an atrocious 17 pounds! And you can't use the piece in single action mode. As of now it's a conversation piece. Now my sidearm is a Colt 1862 Pocket Police! Excellent blackpowder arm! And it was the favorite of a couple of my heroes of the period, Brig. Gen. Johnston Pettigrew and the nefarious William C. Quantrill! When it comes to talking weapons.I'm hooked.
