Re: Starr Arms cap and ball revolver ID

Yeah, Gunny, those were the days! Remember being able to order pistols by mail? Klien's in Chicago kept me supplied until Lee Oswald bought his Carcano there. I've had a K-22 Masterpiece from there, as well as a Colt New Service in .45 ACP. Others I got at various gun and pawn shops. They gradually were unhappily sold off in the lean days of yore. I sure wish I had 'em back! I also had a Remington Rolling Block in .43 Spanish. About every third round would work! My Colt 1860 Army and Manhatten Arms >31 Pocket were stolen in a move. I traded a Marlin Model 39 for the Colt, and got the Manhatten in Virginia. Now I have a couple of Smith's and a Star (one "r") 9 mm from the Spanish Navy. A guy in New Orleans made me a set of rosewood grips for it back in the '80s. Guess I'll hush afore ol' Jim gets onto us. LOL Stan
